At Duke Tonight: HOPE FOR HAITI Benefit Concert


If you're in the Durham area and aren't sure what to do with your Friday night tonight, we hope you'll consider attending the Hope for Haiti benefit concert! The press release from Duke Divinity School is below:

Duke Divinity School will participate in a campus visual and performing arts event Feb. 5 to raise money for relief efforts in Haiti.

“Hope for Haiti,” to be held at Duke University’s
Page Auditorium, begins at 6:30 p.m. with a Haitian market selling coffee, crafts, and artwork.

The show continues from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with Haitian dancer Gaspard Louis & Company, Duke violinist Reginald Patterson, musician Toby Bonar, storytelling from Haiti, and other acts.

The suggested donation is $10 (cash only), with all proceeds going to the
United Methodist Committee on Relief and Hearts with Haiti.
