New Creation is very proud to host an event this Tuesday, March 16th (12:15-1:15) celebrating Th.D. student David Taylor’s new book, For the Beauty of the Church: Casting a Vision for the Arts. The edited volume includes contributions from Professors Jeremy Begbie and Lauren Winner, as well as Eugene Peterson, Andy Crouch, Barbara Nicolosi, John Witvliet, and Joshua Banner.
Aimed at pastors and artists, the book offers a robust, integrative, and expansive vision for the arts and the church. Taylor, Begbie, and Winner will discuss the book at the event. Attendees may bring their lunch. Homemade desserts, including a dark chocolate torte, will be provided.
We look forward to seeing you this Tuesday as we gather in support of a very bright star on the horizon of theological engagements with the arts, Mr. David Taylor!
