The highly selective 2011 Sundance Film Festival Festival –- to be held January 20-30 in Park City, Utah -– has announced the films playing in its competition sections, which are mostly defined by independent-type discoveries. Last year’s big winner was current indie award-season cause celebre “Winter’s Bone.” Picked from 3,812 submissions, only 115 feature-length films will be shown, 92 of which will be world premieres. To narrow the program further, here are ten titles that film industry professionals, critics and film fans will likely be tracking:
